QUESTIONS & SUPPORT

How Equari's comparison works, what the site demonstrates, and what's still being prepared.

Equari · Private previewUpdated November 5, 2026
What exactly does Equari compare?

The amount you confirm on a receipt versus the final posted charge. A restaurant receipt might have a $40 meal and an $8 tip, making the expected total $48.

Why might the pending amount be different?

Restaurants may initially authorize a pre-tip amount, then settle the final charge with the tip included. A temporary $40 authorization against a $48 written receipt does not automatically indicate a discrepancy.

What happens if a $53 charge posts instead of $48?

That is a $5 difference to review. A difference could have legitimate explanations; Equari should not characterize it as fraud without additional evidence.

Do I need to connect my bank to browse the website?

No. The demonstration runs entirely on illustrative amounts. This marketing preview does not link accounts or process bank transactions.

Can I join the early-access list today?

Not yet. The email-only waitlist is being prepared with dedicated storage, consent and confirmation requirements. The website will enable signup once those controls are verified.

Does Equari automatically dispute or refund a charge?

No. The initial product focuses on identifying amounts for the user to review, not automating chargebacks or guaranteeing refunds.

Is Equari available on Android?

The first product is being developed for iPhone. We are not announcing Android availability or a release date.

How can financial institutions or partners reach Equari?

A verified partnership contact channel has not yet been published. This private preview is intended to demonstrate the concept, not to represent an existing bank partnership.
